The ESU Welcome Back Students Block Party will be held on
August 16th, 2011 in the 1000 and 1100 Blocks of Commercial
Street. Booths of Main Street member businesses line the sides
of Commercial Street with games, prizes and activities for
hundreds of ESU Students and general community members.  Emporia Main Street member businesses can sign up to showcase their businesses to the community, including ESU Students and Faculty.  
Business participation is a FREE benefit of Main Street membership, however, we do ask that participants have a prize or prizes available for participants in the prize drawings held throughout the evening.  The event allows one business per booth space, and materials available at the booth must only pertain to the participating business, not other member or non-member businesses that are not participating in the event as an independant booth vendor.
