Emporia Main Street and The Emporia Arts Council  are sponsoring an Artist Walk to take place April 19th, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The Artist Walk is an event that brings local artists downtown to showcase their talents. 
    Emporia Main Street will be pairing artists with downtown businesses.  Artists will be on hand to demonstrate their talent and to answer any questions the public may have.

The Emporia Main Street Promotion Committee is sponsoring an Easter Celebration on April 11, 2009 at the Flint Hills Optimist Club Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Parents bring the kids down to Jones Park, visit with the Easter Bunny, and get some free Easter eggs, stuffed with goodies from your friendly downtown merchants! All the fun begins around 10:00am at Jones Park.

The Taste is an enchanted evening full of opportunities to fulfill all your sensory desires.  Come and tantalize your taste buds on a number of great wines and brews.  We will have everything from full bodied dry wines to the sweetest, taste tingling white wines.
